welp… i’ma try my best to point out everything you have incorrect without being overly rude… here goes. omnivores don’t generally try and force their beliefs on vegans because the status quo is in their favor. 97.5% of the US population is non-vegan, why bother wasting time converting the other 2.5%? furthermore, there is no REASON to try and impress your beliefs on vegans… they are not hurting anyone, human or non-human, which is precisely the point. why would it possibly be of benefit for you to try to convince a vegan to do otherwise? there is nothing to gain from it. however, there are massive economic, ecological, and sociological gains from a vegan convincing others to give up animal products, and that is to say nothing of the ethical implications of sparing all those ‘sad animals’ that you have so distanced yourself from.

as for your teeth argument: yup. we have canines and incisors. so do a shit-fuck-ton of other obligate herbivores. without them, tearing through many plants would be near impossible. i am glad you brought up this adaptation though: it is one of many that prove that we are not carnivores, not omnivores, but herbivores. consider also the side-to-side jaw movement we make when we chew, the pre-digestive enzymes in our saliva, the weak stomach acid, the long digestive tract, the lack of claws, or how about the utter and complete lack of carnivorous and omnivorous instincts? i also challenge you do consider the following: if we are designed to process meat, why then are we the ONLY ‘carnivore’ that dies of diseases related to high cholesterol? every single carnivore / omnivore should be able to process this food without any issue whatsoever.

finally, you’ll have to forgive me for not giving a fuck about impressing my ‘beliefs’ on you. shall i also feel bad about imposing my anti-racist ‘beliefs’ upon the racist? how about my anti-sexist ‘views’ upon the sexist? any rational person can see that it is laughable to not want to denounce oppression because of the feelings of the oppressor.

P.S.- don’t worry, i do agree with you on one thing: i’m fucking fed up with vegetarians, too.
